If ever the American people needed a leak of U.S. classified documents on Syria it is this week. “If Americans could read the classified documents they’d be even more against the coming war in Syria.” At least that’s Justin Amash’s opinion at Freedom Outpost. Amash claims to have statements from undisclosed Congress critters who have viewed classified documents or attended classified briefings that will curl your toes.

Here are purported statements from elected officials in D.C.
If Americans could read classified docs, they’d be even more against #Syria action. Obama admin’s public statements are misleading at best.
Attended another classified briefing on #Syria & reviewed add’l materials. Now more skeptical than ever. Can’t believe Pres is pushing war.
Asked Obama admn officials to correct admn’s public statements that are inconsistent w/ info presented at briefings. Public must have facts.
If you’re voting yes on military action in #Syria, might as well start cleaning out your office. Unprecedented level of public opposition.
Personally, I’m with Putin. He says he has real evidence, and not the pretend kind the haughty, French looking horses ass that is Secretary of State John Kerry has not presented. I get sick seeing Kerry lying to us saying a strike will be teensy weensy and have no consequences. Really?
Putin says he can prove Syrian rebels were involved in the Sarin gas attack. He cautions against a strike against Syria until the U.N. can present more conclusive evidence than anything President Obama has shown Congress.
The fact of the matter is, Obama openly crows that he does not need Congressional approval to steer the world into yet another Middle East conflict that is more a civil war of a civilization than a civil war only in Syria.
The fact of the matter is the only people who want this war is the military industrial complex and the pols they control in Congress. War has already been decided for who knows why. It’s probably a presidential pawn in white painters’ paints sent onto the board to pre-coat Republicans into some partisan corner against upcoming budget and debt limit battles. Christ, if it’s come to that.
But look who’s dancing with the president’s coy indecision like frat boys circling the drunk, freshman coed at a kegger. McCain (Military), King (Israel lobby) and more hawks from the GOP. Then you have the idiot palace guard of Democratic leadership turning to their true colors in Reid, Kerry, Pelosi, Feinstein, fomenting war (of all people!) to save a lame duck Democrat president’s hide. Christ, it’s come to that.
And another thing. Where is Wiki Leaks? Where is Julian Assange, John Snowden, Bradley Manning, Dan Rather, the New York Times or the Washington Post? Why haven’t they uncovered and exposed the facts? Maybe it’s because they’re really in it just to stroke their own hairy egos and get a biopic made of them with Russel Crowe, or wheel Redford out in a wheel chair to pose as defender of the mainstream media. So much for their claims of making government more transparent and accountable. Hog wash.
I do not advocate breaking the law or attempting acts of treason, but now would be a good time for the facts of the matter to reach the American people. Or Obama will lie to us all day, beginning Tuesday night.
In the meantime: make your Congressman’s phone melt by calling them to vote no on war. Even if it’s a teensy weensy war.
