McNerney war chest doubles Andal’s cash on hand

Open Secrets reports rookie Democratic incumbent, Pleasanton’s Jerry McNerney, of California’s 11th Congressional District, comes out of the June Primary with apx twice as much cash on hand as Republican challenger and former legislator, Dean Andal of Stockton.
Both Republicans and Democrats are gearing up for a tough battle in which Andal hopes to regain the traditionally Republican seat McNerney took from Representative Pombo in 2006. Incumbency has its privileges, especially when the DNC draws a line in the sand to hold the district!
