Hospice celebrates 2nd Annual Walk to Remember, May 17

The Hospice Foundation of the East Bay is presenting its 2nd Annual A Walk to Remember for family and friends to gather to celebrate the lives of their loved ones and raise funds to benefit Hospice of the East Bay. Participants will also include Hospice staff and volunteers. The Walk be be held at the John Muir Amphitheater located at 115 Tarantino Drive in the Martinez Marina from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
Please mail in your registration card by May 7, 2008
Participants are encouraged to walk the grounds as well as participate in a guided walk through the Regional Shoreline Park. Music and food will be available for sale or bring a picnic.
Participants are encouraged to submit a photograph (5×7 suggested) for the Memory Lane, whether you walk or not. You can mail the photo(s) with your registration card or bring them the day of the walk (print name on back). Photocopies are recommended as photos will not be returned.
The names of the lives being celebrated will be read at noon, followed by a special Memory Lap around the amphitheater. This is a family oriented event for all ages…
strollers and wheelchairs welcome! Dogs on leash are welcome in the amphitheater, but not allowed in the regional park. You can come for just an hour or stay all day, but please do come and celebrate with us.
