Gun Sale restrictions in Pleasant Hill are again coming before the City Council. Citizens who value gun rights and the Second Amendment are encouraged demonstrate against burdensome rules about to be placed on legitimate firearms stores on October 21, starting at 6:30pm at the Pleasant Hill Council Chambers.
The Gun Grabbers are the Bullies and they want to take away our Constitutional rights, by taxing and regulating gun shops out of Pleasant Hill. These bullies are never honest about what they are trying to accomplish…This ordinance is about Gun Control.
Help stop Pleasant Hill Gun Sale Restrictions
WHEN: Monday, October 21, 2013. Please assemble in the courtyard at 6:30 pm; the City Council meeting begins at 7:30
WHERE: Pleasant Hill Council Chambers, 100 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill 94523
WHO: YOU and your friends, co-workers, and neighbors who value the 2nd Amendment and firearms
It is “boots on the ground” time, folks! Our 2nd Amendment and firearms are under attack, again, by the gun-grabbers in Pleasant Hill. For the THIRD time, two members of the City Council (Harris and Durant) will try to ram through draconian zoning and operational gun sale restrictions on legal firearms retailers doing business in Pleasant Hill. These small businesses, including City Arms and The Gun Works, operate in complete compliance with all federal and state laws. They cause no problems for the city, its staff, or residents and should not be burdened with additional gun sale restrictions.
Why should you care? The proposed gun sale restrictions ordinance would pile on a mountain of burdensome new regulations, reporting requirements, and increased costs. For instance, all firearms AND ammunition transactions would have to be videotaped and then stored for a year.
Even if they don’t succeed in driving these legitimate businesses out of the city, every customer will pay much more for everything. City Arms and The Gun Works are the only firearms retailers left, between Martinez and Livermore. If we can’t find a firearms retailer, and can’t afford to purchase firearms and ammunition, how much is our 2nd Amendment worth?
We need everyone to show up and voice your opposition to these punitive gun sale restriction designed to punish, and ultimately eliminate, legal firearms retailers from Pleasant Hill.
