District 5 Supervisor candidates’ financial reports
March 26, 2008
District-5 Supervisor candidates for Contra Costa County have filed their financial reports for the period and the short story is this:
Challenger Don Parscals shows $139 in the bank after raising $4,600 (including a $3,000 loan to self) and spending most on signs and “filing” fees.
Challenger Erik Nunn, now a Democrat, after raising a total of $30,000, shows $1,786 in the bank, after campaign literature expenditures. That’s an awful lot of door hangers!
Incumbent Federal Glover’s Campaign account reported $14,000 raised for the period, with $15,000 spent, and a $103M balance. Big donors included, Friends of Joe Canciamilla, Conoco Phillips, and Garaventa Enterprise.
Federal Glover’s Office Holder account reported no contributions for the period, but had $87,000 already on hand, and spent $17,000, not all directly related to his campaign, with a balance of $70-large. Truth be told, Federal did spend $135.51 at Wal*Mart!
We’ll pass along info from Gary Agopian’s campaign when it becomes available.
