Concordstock to break Guinness guitar ensemble world record, Jul 1

Register now to join over 2,000 guitar strumming enthusiasts as the City of Concord attempts to break the world record for largest guitar ensemble, Jul 1 at Todos Santos Plaza, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Help smash the current Guinness World Record of 1,802 for Largest Guitar Ensemble as folk-rock luminary Country Joe McDonald, leads the crowd in singing Woody Guthrie’s This Land is Your Land (Key of G). Country Joe will stay with for the inaugural performance of Concord’s brand new Tuesday evening series, Acoustic Tuesdays, July 1-29, 6:30 pm-8 pm.
- Registration required (to verify Guinness Record)
- Pre-register online at www.concordtsba.org
- First 2,000 to register and come to the plaza with their guitar, receive a FREE “I Was There” commemorative tee
- No air guitars, please! BRING YOUR OWN GUITARS
- Register the evening of the event beginning at 4:30 pm in Todos Santos Plaza

I was there! We broke the record, not by much, I heard something about only breaking it by eight people, but we still got it! YAAAY! Go Concord!
