Concord Councilman to hold virtual office hours via weblog
July 28, 2008
Concord Councilman, Guy Bjerke, demonstrating once again the brave leadership Concord City Council provides, has announced he will hold virtual office hours via the Internet using his blog at http://guybjerke.typepad.com. Bjerke, probably the biggest geek currently sitting on Concord Council, hopes to answer questions and welcomes comments on his posts, and will offer (for free) occasional Solomon-like commentary on current events. Next up, don’t miss the forthcoming launch of Bill “Luddite” Shinn’s reelection campaign site!

Got something to say?

Did Guy Bjerke ever get elected to te city council? I know he ran like 3 or 4 times and lost. .Was he appointed? Isn’t he a lobbist for the home builders?
Guy was appointed to the post from a field of 17 applicants ((I was also one of them)) after Mr. Chavez died suddenly early in his term.
Guy has been trying to get on the council for years. But he kept losing election after election. Getting appointed instead of elected seems to be the only way for him.
