Got something to say?

Whatever happened to separation of Church and State?
Religious bigots might consider reading the Constitution, specifically the First Amendment. Note the bit about freedom of religion and free exercise thereof. And don’t forget the part that prohibits establishment of religion (including modern ideologies) to the exclusion of all others from the public square… kinda like California’s gubbermint-run, so-called “public” school system. Ooops. I don’t think I was supposed to pull that curtain back, yet.
The expenditure of tax dollars on religion is prohibited by separation and drum roll please, the supreme court. This was a specific religion christianity. You could not use the PUBLIC streets or facilities without the “Big Brother” sound system proclaiming christianity and jesus. There was no escape for anyone wanting freedom from the self-righteous while visiting nearby businesses. The city was wrong to allow it and you are wrong to defend it. Do your voodoo where I am not effected bu it, I don’t care that’s your right, leave me to my rights not to be subjected and be forced to practice religion.
1. Kindly advise which Supreme Court Decision prohibits such use?
2. “No Escape?” Reread your First Amendment. No one was coerced to attend or to pay a fee.
3. “Voodoo?” Oh My. When I get that cranky my wife tells me to take a nap.
