CBO Center helps East Bay non-profits build capacity

The CBO Center offers several programs to help build CBO capacity throughout the year. Here is a sample of seminars available from May to mid-June.
On May 20 (Oakland), a finance workshop will help executive Directors and Boards learn to Prepare for Your Audit.
June 4 (Pleasant Hill), offers an Advanced Marketing workshop.
On June 11 (Walnut Creek), the CBO Center will offer its popular BoardWorks training. This is the board training you’ve been waiting for!
In three hours, Boardworks participants will learn the roles and responsibilities of the board as a governing body, the difference between the work of the board and the work of individual board members, the differences between board and staff functions, and some practical tips and tools that will help board members serve their agencies more effectively.
