The Concord Blue Devils A Corps will perform at the Rose Bowl, Friday evening, July 4 in a music and fireworks spectacular in Pasadena, California. As part of Drum Corps International’s summer 2008 program of Marching Music’s Major Leagues, the Blue Devils will join other top national bands including The Academy from Tempe, AZ, Pacific Crest from Diamond Bar, CA, Phantom Regiment from Rockford, IL, and the Santa Clara Vanguard from Santa Clara, CA. Admission is $13 if you go to the Southland.

The Eddie Hart All in One Foundation will be hosting a “Olympians & Friends Saving Youth” dinner, July 11, the night before the Eddie Hart Olympian Track and Field Education Clinic to be held at Pittsburg High School’s Pirate Stadium.
This year marks the 40th Anniversary for the 1968 Mexico City Olympics, and Eddie Hart will gather various members of the 1968 Olympic Track and Field Team to commemorate their exceptional Olympic experience.
